Is the free tier a trial?

No. The seven standard programmes are complete, downloadable and permanent. There is no sign-in, no expiry and nothing withheld from them. They are the proof that the method is stated honestly.

What does “my own voice” mean in practice?

You write eight lines and record them reading your own script. The recording is then produced to a layer plan you choose. Your voice saying your sentence is the most specific version of this method there is — it is also the one nobody else can sell you.

Can I keep the files if I stop paying?

Yes. Anything produced for you downloads as a normal audio file that works without this site. A programme you cannot keep is a programme you do not really have.

Can I use my own music underneath?

On a personal build, if you hold the rights to it. Otherwise the bed is synthesised here from a single root, which is why there is never a licensing question attached to a SyncFocus file.
